Donations to Ministerial Hardship Fund
The Presbytery created the Ministerial Hardship Fund in 2006, to address emergency circumstances such as a minister or someone in his family having need of medical care at a cost beyond the minister's ability to cover. The ministers in the Presbytery are commonly unable to afford health insurance, or cannot obtain it because of existing health problems. Requests for help are reviewed by a committee of six office bearers.
A full statement of the operation of this fund is found in the Procedures for administering the Ministerial Hardship Fund, adopted by Presbytery in 2009.
Donations to the Ministerial Hardship Fund are tax deductible, and may be made by credit card through the PayPal button below, or at your PayPal account, to payment@masterstrumpet.org. Donations may also be made by a check drawn on a U.S. bank and made payable to "Presbytery of the United States", to be sent to the Presbytery treasurer, Rev. Warren E. Gardner, 1115 Jefferson Highway, Winder, GA 30680, with a cover letter clearly designating that the gift is for the Ministerial Hardship Fund.
