Donations to Home Missions Fund
The Presbytery established a Home Missions Fund in 2007, to assist the development of new churches within the Presbytery. Where local giving in new churches has not been able to provide adequate income for a minister, or for a student for the ministry who supplies the pulpit, the Home Missions Fund makes available some outside funding administered under the Presbytery's oversight. The money would normally be used for augmenting the stipend of a minister or of a student who gives regular pulpit supply and pastoral care for a Congregation or Preaching Station. Individuals or Congregations may donate to this fund.
A full statement of the operation of this fund is found in the Procedures for administering the Home Missions Fund, adopted by Presbytery in 2009.
Donations to the Home Missions Fund are tax deductible, and may be made by credit card through the PayPal button below, or at your PayPal account, to payment@masterstrumpet.org. Donations may also be made by a check drawn on a U.S. bank and made payable to "Presbytery of the United States", to be sent to the Presbytery treasurer, Rev. Warren E. Gardner, 1115 Jefferson Highway, Winder, GA 30680, with a cover letter clearly designating that the gift is for the Home Missions Fund.
