The worship service at Cumberland, being an integral part of the Washington, D.C., Congregation, is under the oversight of the Session of that Congregation. The Session is composed of Rev. R. Sherman Isbell, Moderator, with Mr. Charles Greenewald, Rev. Warren E. Gardner, Rev. Sean W. Humby, and Mr. Philip Larson.

The financial affairs are under the oversight of the Deacons' Court of the Washington, D.C., Congregation.

Rev. Isbell is Clerk of Session and Clerk of the Deacons' Court.
